the men of movember
This month across the great land of Aus, it's Movember. That's right, with a capital M. Men across the land are growing moustaches of all shapes and sizes and girths and thicknesses in order to help raise money for men's health, a subject often swamped by trendier charities. If you wish to check out more about it, or to donate, my brother in law Luke is doing his very best to create the greatest Mo on planet earth - in a month - you can check out more here.
So do you think it's a pity men with Mo's have fallen off the hero radar? Who do you think of when you think of a man with a Mo? I instantly think of Tom Selleck in Magnum PI. Was he best wearer of a Mo ever? Should they make a comeback? Or is the tickle kiss thankfully a thing of the past?
Either way, Movember is a winner and I hope they raise a packet!

I have to put myself down as pro-mustache since my husband has one. I grew up watching Magnum so that might have something to do with it.
Unfortunately, sometimes when my husband shaves his mustache off I don't notice right away. We've pretty much agreed that I won't get in trouble for that and he won't get in trouble for not noticing a new haircut or style.

That's a cool idea. And I say that as a person who really prefers a clean-shaven man...

As a kid, I had a crush on Tom Selleck in Magnum. Ew! Then again, I thought David Hasselhoff was hot in Knight Rider. Whoah! How bad is that?!
I'm not really into facial hair on a guy. I prefer clean shaven (although there are few exceptions).
The concept of Movember is wonderful. If it raises money for charity, it's worth having hairy men around for a month.
